MomentStash provides event owners with tools to collect, organize, display, and download photos and videos contributed by their guests. This policy explains the information MomentStash processes when people use the service.

Information we collect

Event-owner information can include name, email address, account credentials, event details, settings, branding, billing-related identifiers, and support communications. Guest information can include the name a guest enters, captions, uploaded photos and videos, and technical information needed to receive and secure an upload.

Operational information may include IP address, browser and device information, request timestamps, security events, upload status, storage-verification records, and other service logs.

How we use information

We use information to operate event pages, receive and preserve uploads, provide owner dashboards, downloads and slideshows, secure the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, process purchases when enabled, and communicate about the service.

MomentStash does not sell event media or personal information to advertisers, and event media is not used for advertising.

Event media

Media is processed for the event to which it was uploaded. Event owners control their event and can manage its content. Original uploads may be stored alongside technical derivatives such as thumbnails or web-compatible video copies; creating a derivative does not replace the original file.

Storage, backups, and retention

MomentStash may maintain verified copies of event media on more than one storage system for reliability. Retention periods and storage limits may vary by package or event agreement. Temporary exports and technical files may expire sooner than event originals. When an event is scheduled for deletion, backup or replica copies may take additional time to age out of protected storage.

Service providers

We may use infrastructure, DNS and content-delivery, payment, email, monitoring, and storage providers to operate MomentStash. Those providers process information only as needed to provide their services to MomentStash and are subject to their own contractual and privacy obligations.

Security

MomentStash uses technical controls intended to protect customer accounts and event media, including encrypted web connections, access controls, request validation, integrity checks, restricted administrative access, and storage verification. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

Event owners can manage event visibility and media through their account. If you are a guest and want an upload corrected or removed, contact the event owner or MomentStash with enough information to identify the event and upload. Account holders may also request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where applicable.

Children

MomentStash is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended for children to create customer accounts. Event media may incidentally depict minors when uploaded by event guests or owners.

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top identifies the latest published version.
